I am getting set apart today

I am getting set apart today at nine o'clock. The time of my mission is at hand. I know it will be hard, but I am ready to give it my all. I am ready to put my life in the Lord's hands and become an instrument to bring many people to salvation. I love my Savior and am so excited to go and serve, to do His work. I know that Jesus is the Christ, our Savior and older brother. i know that He died to save us all from sin, so that we may return to live with him forever. i am so greatful for my support system of my family and friends. thank you so much for your friendship, honesty, kind and Love. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a happy Holiday season.

  1. Hey Alex gave me this site... do you mind if I link it on my blog so that we can check in on you from time to time? We know you will be an AMAZING missionary. You have a special spirit about you and that will touch many lives. And you have one of the MOST IMPORTANT things for missionary to have and it does not always come easy to people... and that is LOVE. You have a pure love for others and it exudes from you. That love will be the conduit to the spirit. A companion of mine once said "Love changes people like you can't imagine" and she was so right. As we loved the people, things just fell into place and we knew what each person needed to help them understand and grow in the gospel.
It works! Love and Prayer... lots of it!
Brigham, our little family will miss your presence in our lives. You have been such an amazing friend to all of us, especially Alex and I know that she will miss you terribly, but we are all so proud of you for making the decision to serve. You will find, it will truly be the best 2 years of your life.
Thank you for coming into our lives and making a difference. Thank you for the dear friendship you have given Alex. I hope that you know how much she treasures it.
We love you, we will pray for you and for your continued success.
Go forth with Faith... tell the world of Jesus Christ our Lord.

  3. Hey Brigham! It's Josh Jacobs from NYLC, I just wanted to say it's great to read about you coming so far. I hope you have a wonderful experience serving your mission time in Taiwan. I have lots of friends from Taiwan and I hear it's a great place. I wish you the best of luck and hope you discover so much of that moral, spiritual, and intellectual growth that I've heard is such a big part of this. I'd love to stay in touch with you and hear how your doing.

Count me in as a regular reader, your long distance pal,

    Josh
